1. Introduction of Da Vinci Horse Sculpture
This sculpture, also known as the “Gran Cavallo,” is based on the grand vision of Renaissance master Leonardo da Vinci. In the 15th century, da Vinci was commissioned by Ludovico Sforza, Duke of Milan, to design a monumental bronze horse, standing seven meters tall, to embody the power and glory of the Sforza family. Although unfinished due to war, da Vinci’s drafts and sketches survived, and the Da Vinci Horse Sculpture was ultimately completed by artist Nina Akamu in the late 20th century.
This bronze Da Vinci Horse Sculpture, with its majestic figure, depicts a sturdy and noble warhorse. The horse’s neck is taut, its head tilted slightly downward, its gaze determined, and its limbs, defined by defined muscles and powerful strength, have one front leg raised, as if about to stride forward. The mane of the Large Bronze Horse Statue is meticulously sculpted, creating a rhythmic wave pattern, and the tail curls naturally, with realistic details. Arturban Sculpture can customize various horse statues. Welcome to contact us for more details.
