1. Introduction of homeless jesus sculpture
Homeless jesus sculpture was designed by Canadian sculptor Timothy Schmaltz, a devout Catholic.
It depicts Jesus as a homeless man sleeping on a park bench. His face and hands were covered under
the blanket, but the wounds on his feet exposed his identity. The statue was described as “visual
translation”. Matthew Jesus told his disciples: “when you do it to one of my youngest brothers, you
do it to me.” Schmalz hoped to make the bronze sculpture provocative, and admitted: “in essence,
this is what sculpture should do. It is a challenge to people”.
We have rich experience in the production of religious sculptures. The image of the jesus lying on bench
in robes almost covering the face increases people’s imagination and makes the meaning of sculpture
more profound. Our colorists have rich experience and are very good at coloring figure sculptures.
The color of this sculpture is thick and natural, just like the color revealed from the inside of the
sculpture, which is very sacred. We have rich experience in religious sculpture. We are not only
familiar with a variety of religious statue images in detail, but also can carve religious sculptures of
various shapes and sizes placed in churches, courtyards and squares. You can contact us at any time
to tell us your needs.
