1. Introduction of Thousand Armed Avalokiteshvara Statue

Thousand-handed Avalokitesvara, whose full name is “Thousand-handed Thousand-eyed Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva”, is one of the incarnations of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, symbolizing boundless compassion and universal salvation. According to legend, Avalokitesvara made a great wish to save sentient beings, wishing to have a thousand hands and a thousand eyes to illuminate the ten directions and sense all suffering in the world. The thousand hands not only represent his infinite power of salvation, but the instruments held in each hand also symbolize wisdom, protection, purification and blessing. He is revered as a model of “those with great compassion” and is a sacred image with great protective power in the hearts of Buddhist believers. This bronze Thousand Armed Avalokiteshvara Statue has a solemn shape and exquisite details.

The main statue of the Thousand Hand Guan Yin Statue is sitting cross-legged on a lotus seat, with his hands in a mudra in front of him, and the rest of his arms are naturally spread out from behind, layer by layer, like a Dharma net protecting his body, with Dharma instruments such as Dharma wheels, lotus flowers, treasure bottles, arrows, etc. on his arms. His face is kind and solemn, he wears a crown on his head, and a small Buddha statue sits on his head, symbolizing that Avalokitesvara is connected to the Buddha’s Dharma lineage. The backlight of the Thousand Armed Avalokiteshvara Statue is carved with flame and cirrus patterns, the composition is complex and dynamic, enhancing the sacred and solemn atmosphere.
