Geometric Squirrel Statue
1. Introduction of Geometric Squirrel Statue This sculpture series, modeled after squirrels, reshapes the animal’s appearance using a low-polygonal design. The Geometric Squirrel Statues feature two squirrels of different sizes, both seated on their hind legs, holding acorns in their front paws, heads slightly raised, and pointed ears erect, capturing the squirrel’s alert and endearing state when eating or storing food. The most recognizable feature, the bushy tail, is simplified into a large, upward-curling geometric structure. The two squirrels can be displayed together; the size difference creates a sense of adult and young animals together. The sculptures are made of stainless steel, with surfaces composed of numerous triangular and irregular polygonal facets, filled with vibrant blocks of pink, blue, yellow, red, green, and orange. The geometric arrangement softens the realistic fur texture while retaining key features such as the squirrel’s ears, snout, front paws, hind legs, and tail. Some edges
