Watermelon Statue
1. Introduction of Watermelon Statue This watermelon sculpture set comprises both whole fruits and cross-sections, presenting a vibrant summer and pastoral theme through magnified fruit forms. The whole watermelon features a full, oval outline with a bright green base accented by dark green wavy stripes. A short, thick stem and outstretched leaves are sculpted at the top, closely resembling the natural appearance of a ripe watermelon. The cross-section version of the Watermelon Statues cuts the watermelon lengthwise, clearly showcasing the pink flesh, the white rind transition layer, and the green outer skin. Black seeds are distributed in an arc along the interior of the flesh, making the design intuitive and highly recognizable. This Watermelon Statue is made of fiberglass, a material ideal for creating large, rounded surfaces and suitable for segmented spraying and painting. The sculptures are supported by metal poles and frames at the base, allowing for stable installation
